General Info

No costumes or masks may be worn inside SCREAMS Theme Park.
Pets or animals are not allowed inside SCREAMS.
You may not bring food or drink of any kind into SCREAMS Theme Park.
Cameras are permitted in the park, but not inside the main attractions.
Free private club membership is required to purchase alcohol.

Please wear comfortable shoes as you will be walking outside on various paved and unpaved surfaces.


WHAT is SCREAMS?

SCREAMS is much, much more than a haunted house -- it’s a halloween theme park complete with five major attractions that you can tour as many times as you like, scores of professional actors, activities, food and drink and games.

WHEN is SCREAMS open?

SCREAMS is open each Friday & Saturday, September 30 - October 29 from 7:30pm - 1:30am, plus Sunday, October 30, 2011, 7:30pm to 11pm.

WHERE is SCREAMS?

SCREAMS is located just 30 minutes south of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, in Waxahachie, on FM 66 just West of I35. Map and driving directions.

WHAT can I do at SCREAMS?

Besides touring the five major attractions as many times as you like, the park has games, Scary-oke, classic horror movies, face painting, psychics, a fortune teller, food and drink and more. SCREAMS is a night of fun and gasping terror.

Where can I buy tickets?

Tickets are available for purchase online or at the SCREAMS front gate box office.

How much do tickets cost?

General Admission tickets are $24.99 per person age six or more.

Does SCREAMS offer discount group tickets?

A discount is available for groups of 15 or more when all tickets are purchased at the same time. Group discount tickets are $19.99 each (tax included) and must be purchased in advance through our online ticket system.

Is SCREAMS appropriate for children?

SCREAMS has many activities that are appropriate for all ages. But please be aware that some young children may be sensitive to the eerie environment of SCREAMS. The major attractions are generally suited for children aged 10 years or older.

Is SCREAMS handicapped accessible?

The SCREAMS Theme Park is generally handicapped accessible.

What is the best time to arrive?

The earlier, the better; our gates open at 7:30pm and you'll want to get here early enough to experience as much as you can.

Please note: although SCREAMS stays open until 1:30am, ticket sales stop at 12:00 midnight.

How much is parking?

Parking is free.

Can I wear a costume?

For the safety of our guests, costumes and masks are not allowed inside the park. Please do not wear a costume or mask.

Can I bring my camera?

You may bring your still or video camera into the SCREAMS Theme Park, but they MAY NOT BE USED IN THE HAUNTED ATTRACTIONS. Flash photography is discouraged.

Is there security?

Security officers patrol the park throughout the event.

How can I get a job at SCREAMS?

SCREAMS is a great place for friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing workers who don’t mind a weekend job that keeps them long into the night. There are a variety of costumed and non-costumed positions -- professional actors for the haunted attractions, ticket and souvenir sales, entrance gate, games, food and beverage, cooks and kitchen help, grounds maintenance and more. Weapons Policy:
